Automaticaly open chat thread on new conversation

It would be fine if the chat thread could apear automatically in the recent chats list when a contact initiates a new conversation instead of having to clic on the notification icon

hm, but the thread does appear in recent chats list, unless you apply a different filter or in settings section (if you clicked on group chats or archive icon on the right, you won't see new chat threads).
