I have the identical problem which was described here: ericpaulbishop/redmine_git_hosting#175

I have redmine 2 and the latest redmine_git_hosting plugin. When I create a new project, the respository is created. After commit redmine says the repo is empty.

For a non-admin user the project page under the Git repository headline says: "translation missing: cs.label_repository_access_not_configured" and don't show the ssh path (http is disabled) to the repository. On the repository page, redmine says repo is read only (and don't show the ssh path)

For admin repo is read-write, admin can see ssh path on the project page and on the repository page but repo is still empty after commit.

Repositories created before this plugin was installed are OK (not empty, I can browse them)

Do you have logs?
You will find them in <redmine_path>/log/git_hosting.log

Nothing interesting in log, but this issue seems to be resolved, redmine shows repository content after long time.
This means, repository alreasy isn't empty.

Thx

For a non-admin user the project page under the Git repository headline says: "translation missing: cs.label_repository_access_not_configured" and don't show the ssh path (http is disabled) to the repository. On the repository page, redmine says repo is read only (and don't show the ssh path)

For this issue, you must allow users to create ssh keys by adding 'create_gitolite_ssh_key' permission on role.

For the repositories refresh issue, can you enable hooks debug in plugin settings?
