/etc/trillian/trillian_log_*.conf config files have been created in the source RPM package, but comments need to be removed from them in order for them to work properly. That is, only the actual options may exist. See google/trillian#2724 for details. Consider a different approach such as passing $OPTIONS via the systemd unit file and using the EnvironmentFile setting.
