Conflict with wallpapers #135
Comments
I never heard about this problem. I just enabled the mod and tried to change the wallpaper, it works just fine. Are you saying that changing the wallpaper doesn't work when the mod is enabled? Does the problem happen even if no styles/themes are set in the mod settings? |
The problem occurred using the "DockLike" theme, but even without any theme it also happened... it's very strange, it's as if the taskbar styler mod superimposed the Windows wallpaper As you can see in the screenshot, the wallpaper engine is working and running the wallpapers, but it seems that the mod overlays them |
Can you reproduce the issue by only using Windows settings? i.e. without Wallpaper Engine running?
That won't have any effect in this case since Wallpaper Engine is not targeted by the mod. |
This error also happens with the Windows wallpaper itself. If I click on a new image to be wallpaper it is not displayed, it still remains my last wallpaper until I restart windows explorer |
@IHuGoWI is it with Wallpaper Engine running? It might be that it causes this conflict while running, even if the wallpaper is switched via Windows settings. As I noted in my earlier comment, I wasn't able to reproduce it with just changing a wallpaper from settings. If possible, please either disable or uninstall Wallpaper Engine, or grab another computer, and come up with steps to reproduce the issue so that I can reproduce it on my computer. Without it, I'm afraid I can't do much to help with this. |
I'm facing a problem with desktop wallpapers and with the wallpaper engine using the taskbar styler. When the mod is active conflicts occur, the wallpaper engine does not work. It's as if the mod overlaid the wallpaper engine. The same happens if I try to change the wallpaper with windows itself. The problem only solves if I restart windows explorer.
