How to achieve Dialog.Trigger as DropdownMenu.Item like in WorkOS dashboard?

Hey, I've seen that across the WorkOS dashboards, there are some DropdownMenus that trigger Dialogs. It would be great to understand how this is being achieved with Radix Themes. We are currently doing the same thing but I am not happy with how we are achieving it (dropdown stays open etc). I've seen some old github discussions around this but wondering how it is being achieved internally. Thanks.

Basically doing this:
