I'm not sure when this started, but when pasting from the kill ring (e.g. M-y), line endings are pasted into the buffer.
This is what I mean (top normal text, bottom after being pasted from kill ring):
Of course, I checked and disabling selectrum and pasting from the kill ring results in the correct behavior (no line ending characters).
I'm currently using emacs master with native comp enabled.
