The conference page looks nice!
I would suggest some visual improvements:

  • I think that the page is important but is not easy to find as we have to navigate to Community > Project Organisation > Meetings > QGIS UC 2025. I submitted a PR earlier into the navigation bar that adds the link to the "Meetings" page (Add meetings link to the navigation bar qgis-uni-navigation#12) to easily find the events. What do you think about that? Cc @timlinux @anitagraser
  • For the conference tabs, I think they look good, but I wonder if you had a chance to try the one that we usually use (e.g https://qgis.org/project/overview/#key-features).
  • For the images, I would generally suggest using the webp format for better performance and ensure that each one is showing somewhere. And perhaps with a rounded border to align them with the existing ones 😄 .
  • I think it would be nice to also have the possibility to add the event to the calendar. Using iCalendar (with the location), for example. But anyway, perhaps it's not really a good idea.
  • Please see also my other comments on the files.

@timlinux @anitagraser , I would also like to request your confirmation regarding the text content.

I think that the page is important but is not easy to find as we have to navigate to Community > Project Organisation > Meetings > QGIS UC 2025. I submitted a PR earlier into the navigation bar that adds the link to the "Meetings" page (qgis/qgis-uni-navigation#12) to easily find the events. What do you think about that?

I've toyed with a few ideas there, but always end up in the same place - it's hard to make the UC pages more easily findable without them taking to much space. One can also consider that previous years they were in entirely different places (i.e. different domains altogether) so even harder to find.

I think what is in place now (link from frontpage ("Join our annual conference"), sidebar menu, shortlink (/uc-2025), +your unibar PR) is as far as we can reasonably expect to get. Maybe when the tickets go on sale we can get a News-bar entry?

For the conference tabs, I think they look good, but I wonder if you had a chance to try the one that we usually use (e.g https://qgis.org/project/overview/#key-features).

I did consider it, however it felt like that one is more about switching between pieces of content on one page, rather than switching pages altogether. But if you disagree I can switch to that one.

For the images, I would generally suggest using the webp format for better performance and ensure that each one is showing somewhere. And perhaps with a rounded border to align them with the existing ones 😄 .

Done!

Sounds like a good idea to me, done!

Yes, definitely.

I think it's fine, and it looks good to me.

The image is not showing anymore. Please let me know if you need help converting it to .webp
