One day suddenly, checkpoint, Laura loader doesn't show the thumbnail image.
It's not coming out all of a sudden.

It's embarrassing because it's coming out well and not coming out.

This custom node cannot be deleted and reinstalled,
I reinstalled the CompyUI at all, but it comes out in the beginning and doesn't come out again.

I would appreciate it if you could let me know if there is a way to reset the item or change the settings.

"Lora Loader 🐍" node no longer shows image previews on mouse hover too.
Apparently, the ComfyUI_frontend has been updated (now the mouse scrolling speed in drop-down lists is fast and a scrollbar has been added) and because of this it doesn't work as it should.

I reinstalled it, checkpoint node, Lora node, both come out fine.
Since when did it become right not to come out of Lora node???

As you can see, I reinstalled it, so you can see that it comes out normally.
However, it doesn't come out all of a sudden, and the image will be displayed again only after reinstalling the ComplyUI itself.

Seriously?! Reinstall the whole ComfyUI itself? Come on... I also did reinstall the ComfyUI-Custom-Scripts, but it didn't help. I can't find anyvhere that 'Badge' option, if that could have something to do with preview images on mouse over...., eh.... ??

I just installed the comfyui new, and Python, custom node got the old one.

I think the problem is intermittent, and once it happens, the thumbnail doesn't show up continuously, so I think the only answer is to reinstall the comfyUI.

So, I'm trying to avoid touching UI-related settings as much as possible.

When you use for example 'Pythongosss Lora Loader' (it DOES the subfolders!) - in the rolette of available loras you can see the preview image on mouse over (if you have some image of the same name as lora in the same folder) - or at least you was able to see the preview in the past - thats the problem - now the on mouse over previews are gone...

The subfolders menu is crucial, when you have tens of dozens of loras managed in subfolders structure, thanks god for Pythongosss, and the mouse over preview is/was another add to quality of work

So, are you saying that it's policy that the preview image doesn't come out from the LORA loader?

When you reinstall the ComplyUI, previews are coming from both the checkpoint and the lora loader.

Currently, once you click on the update through the Compuyi manager and restart it,
The problem is that it doesn't come out from then on.

The part about the submenu seems to be a different issue.

I have different versions of Comfy running, this one is relatively new and the preview images still work.

In the most recent version of Comfy, the preview of the images no longer works. It doesn't matter whether it's a Lora loader or a Checkpoint loader, the error probably has the same cause. I upload the information about the versions as images.
the custom nodes ComfyUI custom scripts should be the same: 2025-01-02

Everything still works here:

Thank you for the good information.
I tested each version, and the thumbnail comes out in a specific version
Especially, the latest version doesn't come out.

If it doesn't come out, I think we need to downgrade the web folder to a specific version.

Considering this, it would be nice if you could work on CompyUI, manager, and custom node side.

Does it have to be a specific version? Or the newest? I did download the newest and copied it, but still don't have thumbnails. Not my day... :-( I did do a full restart and refresh.

I don't think I can see the thumbnail from a specific version. However, I can't figure out which version that is. There are so many versions...

So, you can download and overwrite a specific version, or you can also overwrite the web folder that is currently in the ComplyUI installation file, and the image will display normally.

And, the web folder seems to be part of the UI and node design of the ComplyUI, so the node looks different depending on the version.

I've also selected a few and covered them since the version I told you about above...
It has a unique node shape.

You can specify what version of the frontend you want to use in the startup args. You don't need manage download and replacing files yourself.

For example, to use the version of the frontend mentioned in this thread (1.5.19), you can start ComfyUI with the command:

python main.py --front-end-version Comfy-Org/[email protected]

https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/releases/tag/v0.3.10

So I guess for people who use Portable, download that zip of v0.3.10 and replace the web folder under ComfyUI folder.

Only visual issue I see is that the light hover of the folder isn't correct, it's stick at the top (hovering XL right now):

The frontend version is 1.5.19.
Up to the 1.6.14 version, it will output normally.
It does not output normally from later versions.

Regardless of the ComplyUI version, there is an error in the output depending on the frontend version.
Currently, the problem has already been confirmed by the person in charge of CompyUI, and there is a possibility that it will be corrected later.

It's a little bit difficult.
Because them just restore Comfy-Org/ComfyUI_frontend v1.6.8 v.s v1.6.9 and v1.6.14 v.s v1.6.15's change.

I don't know how to actually fix the problem without breaking new features.
