Exploring support for IGRINS

Hi Pypeit maintainers! 👋
Thank you for your neat framework! @kfkaplan, @ericasaw, and I were wondering whether IGRINS-2 on Gemini North will end up having its data reduction through pypeit. We saw the New Spectrograph developer guide, so we understand the concept of how the development could work, just wondering whether folks are familiar with plans, and if so, how some coordination could be established.

Hi @gully , I don't know of any current plans, but we're happy to support your development efforts. The best way would be to join the PypeIt User's Slack. We can create an IGRINS-2 channel and go from there.
