THB2 battery life time with default setup? #111
-
First, I'd like to thank all of the people that helped with this custom firmware. It's GREAT!! :-D I got it working with Home Assistant with really minor effort. Couples glitches here and there to sort out at first, but nothing major. Now I'd like to custom the setup using the online tool : https://pvvx.github.io/THB2/web/PHY62x2BTHome.html Since I would be happy with getting sensor updates every 5 or 10min, would reducing the default polling time help the battery lifespan? How much does it affect it? I'm running since today, so I don't have statistics of any kind at hand. |

It depends more on the quality of the batteries. The time that has passed since the release of the first versions of alternative firmware is not enough to obtain statistics. Since then the batteries are still working. |

If desired, everything can be found on the Internet, and not waste the developers' time on empty talk. Instead of this conversation about "who is stronger, a whale or an elephant?" you can create several add-ons to the programs.
