missing left mouse clicks

this rox-filer misses left mouse click a percentage of the time. i noticed this in bionic, where it missed left clicks about 15% of the time. i'm currently working on a fossa build and in this it seems to be more like 50% of the time left click does nothing.

i've found this happening on multiple different pups and on both low end and high end computers.
