Template / PR Information
We are expanding the Nuclei Templates to include a specialized set of security checks dedicated to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. This initiative will cover various GCP components such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks. The new templates will focus on common misconfigurations, compliance issues, and adherence to industry best practices, utilizing enhanced capabilities like flow and code protocol.
The addition of these GCP-specific templates will enable security teams to perform in-depth security assessments of GCP configurations, identifying critical misconfigurations and vulnerabilities. Additionally, this update will support customizable checks that align with unique operational needs, helping teams efficiently detect and address security gaps in their GCP setups.
We invite contributors and reviewers to offer their insights and suggestions to refine and advance the development of these GCP security templates. This issue will serve as a central thread for tracking the development and implementation progress of these checks.
