We should offer one or more backup options for non-privacyIDEA token. Since they are not part of what is governed by privacyIDEA, the user should be free to chose what do to with their "private" token.
Possible backup mechanisms:

  • Display a QR code that contains the tokens. Requires that the app is also able to read a QR code that contains more than 1 token!
  • Encrypted file with password (optionally cloud upload)
