Slimrat doesn't download any files from Youtube - nor command-line version, nor
GUI
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try for example this command:
slimrat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZEWSLO_42w
I'm see these messages in terminal:
[10:00:14] WARNING: this is a development release (Common SVN build 460), if
you encounter any issues, please re-run slimrat with the '--debug' flag
enabled, and submit the resulting dump file to the bug tracker
[10:00:15] Slimrat started (noninteractive command-line interface)
[10:00:15] Downloading 'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZEWSLO_42w'
[10:00:41] WARNING: check failed (unknown reason)
[10:00:41] WARNING: could not deduce filename, falling back to default string
[10:00:41] File will be saved as './SLIMRAT_DOWNLOADED_FILE'

any action)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using latest SVN version r460 on Ubuntu 11.04 OS (installed from self-built
deb package, generated by your fetch-slimrat-svn-ubuntu-package-v2.sh script)
I'm attaching a log files from /tmp folder, generated by slimrat --debug
Btw, other youtube downloaders, like ClipGrab works fine with this Youtube URL.
