Idea: blur the whole page using the blur filter and display error message on top of that. Like this: http://www.findyourwaytooz.com/

The 404 error page has to appear whenever we try a link which doesn't exist. Figure that out from the script. And as for the effect, this can be easily done using the .blur class and the #constuction div.

Semi-done. It'll catch all first level errors in the URL.

Nithin found a bug: "when we click on an event's link twice an error page requested by you cannot be displayed is shown."
