Hi Pierros,

Excellent job on the scripting! I wanted to find such a script 2 years ago but failed to discover your great work. Now I finally get it!

I agree that shaking is a big problem with 1/125s to 2s exposure. In 2015 they have built a Full-Resolution Silent Shooting function as explained here: https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=12523.msg143510#msg143510

Do you think it is possible to merge this function into Eclipse Magic?

Cheers

Hi Pierros,

I have given up using the silent.mo. I found that inserting a lv.start() before each shot is good enough to remove the vibrations (lv did not cause a limit for the available exposure time, at least not for my 550D & 6D).

I also found that adding a beep before the lv.start will enhance the time efficiency for 550D. (see my test here: https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=23636.0)

Cheers
Boyang
