Hey there! Thanks so much for postal.js, it's exactly what I was looking for. I'm particularly interested in socket.io federation, and would like to help out and contribute to the project. Could I email you some questions and thoughts about the best way to proceed?

@ifandelse What plans do you have about future of this project?
I have some proposals. For example I think we should consider the possibility to use multiple transports not just socket.io. Maybe we can use https://github.com/3rd-Eden/primus which wrap multiple real-time frameworks.

@gut4 @flimshaw - thanks for your interest in this! I do plan on re-visiting this project and getting it up to date. I've had a lot of life change events here in the last 3-4 months, so I've been a bit distracted - and can't remember where exactly I left off, so I need to review and get myself back up to speed. :-) The postal.xframe federation add-on is the most developed of the add-ons, but something covering websockets is definitely next on the list for me. I agree with @gut4 that I would like to cover multiple transports - though it may be best to approach it via separate federation plugins.
