Wallpaper with different aspect ratio from display shifts when in workspaces view

Edit: this may be a separate issue. If I try it with a wallpaper that matches the display's aspect ratio, it works properly, but if the wallpaper is too big it is stretched differently depending on whether it's in workspaces view or the desktop. I'll close this and open a new issue.
