Before you install WebApp as described in README here are some system requirements:
Tested on CentOS release 6.3 (Final):
$ yum install postgresql-server postgresql
$ chkconfig postgresql on
To use a JDBC connection like db.url=jdbc:postgresql:webappdb add this to PostgreSQL's pg_hba.conf:
host all all 127.0.0.1/32 trust
Then login to PostgreSQL and add the role:
$ su - postgres -c psql
postgres=# CREATE ROLE webapp LOGIN;
$ yum install python
For CentOS 5.5 it is python26.
$ yum install git
