Support for SUMO 1.6.0 #13
Comments
Dear Jakob,
Thank you for your interest in TraCI4Matlab.
- Unfortunately I have not had enough time to update TraCI4Matlab, due
to my commitment with my Ph.D, then I cannot tell exactly if I will have
time in the next two years
- It definitely makes sense, I will be glad to explain the details of
the client to interested developers
- The support from you has been always there, in the documentation and
through the mailing list. I will use them in case I cannot explain
something to interested developers.
- I think the readme is outdated, the last update to TraCI4Maltab was
targeted for TraCI version 19
Kind Regards

… Hello,
I keep getting requests for updated traci4matlab versions.
The TraCI-API changes since version 1.1.0 are fairly small and all are
listed at https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/ChangeLog.html in the sections called
Other/TraCI.
- Are you still actively developing traci4matlab?
- Would it make sense to ask for interested developers to support you
(i.e. via the sumo-user mailing list)?
- Do you need any other support from the SUMO developers for this? The
core team is not using Matlab but I would be happy to explain API changes
if needed.
- What TraCI version are you targetting at the moment? The readme says
TraCI Version 15 but recent commit messages already refer to TraCI Version
19 (SUMO 1.1.0)?
best regards,
Jakob

Hi Jakob and Andres, I use TraCI (Python) and MATLAB for my research and have contributed to SUMO before. I would be happy to help with updating and maintaining the library if you are still looking for developers. Best, |
Dear Srishti, thank you so much for your support. I will make you a contributor to TraCI4Matlab. Do not hesitate to ask me any technical or implementation details. Best Regards! |
Thank you Andres! I will go through the changelog and reference this issue in any issues I create for the updates. Should I reach you at your institutional e-mail address in case I have any questions about the implementation? |
Yes Srishti, you can write me to the intitutional email. Best Regards. |
