It seems the boxes for entering the border width and shadow depth have a limited DISPLAY precision, which means they round the actual floating point background value for displaying a previously set value (thereby distorting it).
This is VERY annoying when you try to get the boxes to line up juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust perfectly so they don't overlap when you have two subtitles going over two lines. Which btw. is way, way harder than it should be, especially given this bug. And it's also a problem because even once you DO get them to line up perfectly (which I haven't accomplished yet given that it requires me to iterate over a lot of floating point values), if you save these settings, and later want to change something else, your previously stored value will end up getting overwritten.
