Wireguard on Mikrotik times out after 2m #186

I've set up the Wireguard tunnel with port-forwarding on my Mikrotik Rounter.

However, after roughly 2 months of operation, it always times out and whole tunnel needs to be reconfigured. Is there a way to make it more permanent? I've raised ticket with PIA support staff, but they redirected me here without any info whatsoever.

TLDR; is it possible to set up a port forwarding which lasts longer than 2 months?

Are you still having this issue on your Mikrotik?

Replace #!/bin/bash shebang with #!/usr/bin/env bash
