Compatibility with Tree Style Tabs to only show top-level tabs in Panorama view

A friend who uses both this and Tree Style Tabs recommended TST to me and the way I was hoping it'd work was that the parent tabs, the top level ones, would be the only ones to be shown in the panorama view. Apologies if this isn't properly categorized, I've literally only just made this account to make this request for a feature at the urging of a friend.

There is no easy way to make this work smoothly at the moment.
I am remaining forever hopeful that Firefox will get native tab grouping and an API for it "soon", which would make all tab grouping addons finally work together. But until that time it's just too much work to hack in..

RIP, thank you for your time regardless, here's hoping this actually shakes out because until then all my panorama groups are messes of tiny blocks with no room for their text because I hoard tabs TwT
