Name conflict with the original.

Matlab's pdist2 supports returning matched indices as well. [D, I] = pdist2(...)

edit: If anyone ends up renaming/removing that file from the toolbox, recompute matlab toolbox cache to avoid the "previously accessible file is inaccessible" error:

>> rehash toolboxcache
