Hadoop configuration is pretty complicated and going over an example configuration can be difficult. Helping you out though may make it easier for me to provide some sort of example documentation.
At the same time though; NNA should only require you to copy paste your Standby NN's configuration (usually in /etc/hadoop/conf) into the NNA config directory (/usr/local/nn-analytics/config). NNA itself does not need much configuration apart from looking through the security.properties file found in that same NNA config directory; it should be well documented enough; and for starters I would just leave it default and get NNA up and running before tweaking it.
@akshatgit and I had a good discussion in private. @akshatgit -- if you could please list the issues you ran into and if what you had to do to resolve them here I'll gladly turn that into a Quickstart documentation and open up a PR.
Please add one complete configuration, explaining how to add NNA to an existing hadoop cluster.
