As it relates to Issues #133 and #295 for future features...

The app recognizes Example project content as being special. Modifications to source are allowed; however, if the user chooses to Save, the app actually creates another file with the content state, restores the original, and moves to the new file.

The exact nature of this is to be determined and may require multiple related issues.
