kickstart - how to maps

Hey Pascal,

This felt like the easiest way to reach out directly.
I'm looking for some advice on where to start, when it comes to rendering maps in the browser.

I'm currently exploring public government data sets and would like to make some content more accessible through a custom web page (no embeddings please).

As I am using React for my project; can you point me in a direction or give me some ideas/hints on how to render a "basic" map like this?
