When Ctrl+C is pressed in Python, the C-API is sent a KeyboardInterrupt but we don't currently handle this and stop Matlab.

Some investigation has to be done on how to interrupt Matlab programmatically...

We can use the undocumented libut for this - Horace actually uses this method in combine_sqw.
