Known issues

• Tables do not show categorical values #1273
• Map sparklines should become levels for categorical variables #1323
• Grapher cannot tell when a variable is categorical (ordinal or nominal vs quantitative) #1324
• Design: not enough space in legend to explain categorical variables #1325

The way we work around it is is to have half a legend below the chart and the other half in the subtitle like this:
