New information about Google Summer of code

Hi @djmitche! I recently read your blog post about your Google Summer of code. I found some updates from GSOC’S blog post that would be worth adding to your post.

Hm, that wasn't my blog post. But, you're right that it has some outdated information about GSoC.

I don't see the text of that post in the source code for the website, so I suspect it's in the website's database, which I don't have permission to edit (I'm just a former coordinator)
