URL shortening Jekyll plugin

Some of our URLs are a bit unwieldy:

openstreetmap.us/events/mapping-usa/2024/vector-tiles-devops-streamlining-contributions-at-openstreetmap-americana/

Even if we shorten the slug:

openstreetmap.us/events/mapping-usa/2024/americana/

I like our permalink format since it shows the hierarchy of our complex site. But we could have a Jekyll plugin that generates internal redirects for all our posts, and then have a "share" control to help people discover and copy the shortened link.

openstreetmap.us/musa24/americana/

And then with a short URL that has splat redirects:

osmf.us/musa24/americana/
