overlay map layer details hidden by navigation route

Hello,

I am using a traffic map served by a well known tile server as overly map in OsmAnd. However, when using the navigation in OsmAnd the traffic information along the calculated route is hidden by the routing path, which sits above the overlay map:

Stopping the navigation only to check for potential traffic problems and to start it again, is very inconvenient and requires concentrating on the app instead on traffic.

I could not find a solution to this problem in OsmAnd itself or in the documentation. However at lest one of the following techniques and solutions would be highly welcome:

1. Allow to place the overly map above the navigation
2. Option to modify the styling of the route, either by the UI or by editing a config file
3. Transparency slider which affects the routing layer
4. widget, button, gesture to hide the navigation route for some time (until next re-centering of the map)

Maybe there is another solution already implemented and I only overlooked it.
Any help is highly appreciated.
