@diesalbla initially posted this in the #http4s-dev Discord channel, but this seems worth looking at for Typelevel as a whole. Here's a brief summary of the program.

@mpilquist previously mentioned some plans to use the current OpenCollective funds for technical writing and documentation. If those plans are concrete, this program seems like a very good opportunity to raise external funding for them.
Otherwise, part of the program is helping to pair organizations with technical writers, but I am unsure if we could find a good match this way. Of the 2021 participants, there is one that mentions Scala, one that mentions Haskell, and no mentions of FP. So we may have better luck directly recruiting someone from the community.
Of course, the other question is which project(s) could benefit most from this effort. Cats, Cats Effect, and Http4s are probably the primary suspects :)
