Phantom Fails to sign transactions on Chrome with Invalid Account Discriminator #89
-
SummaryAn error with the Phantom Extension on Chrome. For some users, they are unable to interact with our smart contract using the phantom extension on chrome. It always gives the error Invalid Account Discriminator. But, when they switch the same private key to the phantom extension on Brave, they can interact with the program no problem. Example failed tx send from phantom 23.11.0 on Chrome: https://solscan.io/tx/4oiovNqSkWfn5GGafcmuxsDeks4ome59xmhgrhpc8ptRc2BAptFuApZbdq9Jnye8v2TxXdEmQymEe4nxJyyVmxPv Same tx being sent from phantom 23.11.0 on Brave: I was able to solve this issue once, but it is plaguing multiple users, preventing them from being paid out. ExampleNo response Steps to ReproduceThis seems to only happen for some users. If you would like, I can connect you with them:

Hey, sorry for the late reply, we just launched on Tuesday so it's been very busy. The site where this is happening is https://pro.lancer.so. It does not happen for everybody, but one of our team members can reproduce the error consistently. I would be happy to set up a time with the three of us to debug this live. |
