You can drop a .pcv into Picocrypt.exe and it will start in decrypt mode by default. Unless you can prove me wrong. This should be extended to open with, though I haven't tested myself so purely theoretical. If you can break it, show some screenshots :) |

I've seen a user asking for an over complicated "File Extension Agnostic Decryption" feature. I also have the same need, but the solution is very simple and already works with Veracrypt and 7zip. There's no need to modify the GUI or select alternative extensions, it's much simpler than that, it's simply a matter of enabling native OS functions.
You can use the “Open with” menu under Windows with a memorization of the type of extensions, so I can already open an .aaa file with Picocrypt by double-clicking on it, the problem is that Picocrypt doesn't distinguish between opening from its main shortcut and calling up an opening from the “Open with” function, which Veracrypt and 7zip do. So the software doesn't understand that it has to decrypt, since even a .pcv file is not automatically recognized...
Picocrypt is actually so tedious to use without this function.
