Hobo-LandCover

Geospatial analysis of Urban Heat Island in Patras based on land cover

  • groups_buffers.py :

    1. Loads CORINE land cover data (Corine dir) and stations coordinates (Hobo dir)

    2. creates buffer zones around stations

    3. groups land cover types

    4. plots pies for land cover type and land cover groups

    5. plots colored buffer maps based on land cover groups

Contains also installation instructions for geopandas library ans styles for land cover types.
