The Kotlin Squash repository at https://dl.bintray.com/kotlin/squash/ is not available anymore.

Can you provide another repository?

Hi @MartinPfeffer

Our team has been working on squash for quite a while and I've requested that we update and publish our repository because we haven't heard from @orangy in quite a while. We primarily work in MySQL, but have improved the core quite a bit as well, adding support for updates with inner joins, etc.

We were hoping to keep the contributions under orangy and jetbrains so the library would get more adoption, but we are going to continue to use it anyway because it is much more flexible / unopinionated than the other options and we know the code inside and out at this point.

I will respond here when its available and as always, we have loads of gratitude and respect for @orangy and jetbrains starting this library and sharing it with us all.

Hi @MartinPfeffer

We are approved to publish our artifacts and have sent a request to Maven Central to provide us a space there to push our fork of the library. @orangy It would be great to work with you if you find the time to keep the project going under this repository and with the Jetbrains encouragement! We know you are quite busy with Kotlin and are happy to jump in with you whenever you can.

Thanks again for an awesome project!

Hi @MartinPfeffer

It is definitely happening. Maven Central approved us for the package, we just have to do our part now! Thank you for your support and once I wrap up my current project I'll be cleaning it up and publishing. We look forward to sharing it and hope to invite contributions as well. Can't thank @orangy enough for creating this project. We still prefer it over the others out there and we hope he is enjoying the holidays. All of us benefit from his work on Kotlin too, so hoping to take squash further in that spirit.

Cheers!

We reached out to @orangy one last time and despite the incredibly long delay we are moving forward. We have been continuing to upgrade squash, particularly for MySQL and using it in production for years now and believe it deserves to continue. Please expect an update within the next week for those that are still interested. We would also love for anyone to join us in this effort to maintain and support the squash library.

Once again, thanks to @orangy and the Jetbrains team for starting this project. We will likely be changes the package simply to make it clear its not an official jetbrains library anymore, but would honestly love for it to continue as a jetbrains library.
