Feature: Options of enabling smooth scrolling only when using touchpad

Is it possilbe to enable smooth scrolling only when using the touchpad?

It works perfectly with touchpad but with mouse I prefer standard behavior, when 1 step on wheel == x lines of code.
If it is hard to detect source of scroll events, then maybe we should have some option (checkbox) like 'disable smooth scrolling'.
