A tiny minority of websites -mostly news-related, see e.g. Football database- would benefit from more frequent updates. There's obviously a tradeoff in terms of resource costs, but we could consider adding an additional option for updates that would be weekly (on top of the current monthly and quarterly).

And I'm not really convinced, especially due to resource usage (both in terms of computation / bandwidth, but also in terms of storage because we will have to keep all versions within a single month) but also in terms of behaviors. We are providing offline data, which by design needs to be resilient to being outdated from few months (order of magnitude). Maybe we simply shouldn't have accepted to ZIM football database in the first place. I'm also afraid that this trend might indicate that we will end-up with people requesting daily ZIM updates for news websites.
