New request: wetten.overheid.nl #1211

Hi @Aeneas-Herodotus just curious about the use case : I can't think of a situation where someone in the Netherlands would lack connectivity (except maybe during a bar exam, but no judgement here), could you explain what's the need (at least in theory) here? We've had similar requests for an offline app (with US codes IIRC), so genuinely curious. |
Also description should probably be in Dutch |
Dear Popo le Chien,
thank you for the message.
Well, I think the use cases could be numerous, albeit maybe reserved only
for Dutch people or those interested in Dutch law, but especially for those
cases in which someone would want to study the material offline, if you
plan to spend some time in a cabin without internet for example. The other
case, and opinions might differ on this, would be in an emergency situation
where the internet is cut off. Of course laws and jurisprudence might not
be the first thing think of in an emergency but I think I could come in
useful for certain things, like looking up the martial laws.
In general I like being able to have access to an offline internet and in
my case these websites are an important part of that and I think, in part
because of the large amount of internet traffic in The Netherlands they
might also be important for others.
Kinds regards,
A. Herodotus
