This is a list of improvements to make on the report.

  • When IMD is selected, the legend should be [Most deprived, 2, 3, 4, Least deprived). IMD 0 (missing) should be removed.
  • For extended periods, the x ticks can be too compact. We currently plot every x tick. We should plot every other beyond a certain date range.
  • The plot and legend sizes are inconsistent.
  • It's not obvious which figure/table legends belong to which plot. We should think about whether including the figures and tables in a box, with the legends makes this more obvious).
  • The styling of the population level rate isn't consistent with the other plots.
  • Think about differences in patterns between the deciles chart and the population level plots. Are these differences valid, and if they are how can we explain them?
  • Update the ordering of the legend for the age band plots. These should always be in age order
