Problem:
I was wondering why there is no NFC feature for the iOS App. I am able to read and write nfc tags with my iPhone and an app called "NFC Tools". So the hardware is capable doing this.
Request:
Add the "Wrtite to NFC tag" feature like it is available for the Android App.

Hey @diRk262
Do you realy need this? "NFC Tools" do a great job.... and the smart integration from openHAB into the shortcut app, allow execution of actions if you scan NFC tags. I also use NFC Tags ( https://360friends.de/nfc-iphone-openhab/ ) but never think about a usecase that "write a NFC tag" should be part of the openHAB App?! Could you explain the usecase? (Note: I don't know the android app and why they add this function)
Regards,
Tim
Hey @lochmueller ,
I know it is possible to trigger commands/automations with shortcuts on iOS.
But why should I use other apps when the openhab app could support this? (Like on android)
Adding a command within the openhab app is much more faster and easier than scaning it with shortcuts app and setting up a workflow.
Furthermore the command is written to the tag, so other people within my home can use the tag without creating the ios shortcut.
