I use openhab behind an nginx reverse proxy with basic Auth. The same reverse proxy has basic Auth with the same credential for grafana. Openhab which has configured the basic Auth as a remote service should pass the basic Auth credentials to the grafana graphs which are embedded as a we view in the openhab ios app |

Actually I have a basic auth-secured nginx for remote openhab access. Passing the credentials of the remote openhab instance when calling the reverse proxy for grafana (which is on a virtual directory of the openhab nginx site and is secured with basic auth as well).
