It's possible for the timer to persist on the navbar, even if you're not on an interactive session. I have attached a screenshot of what this behavior looks like at the end of this description.
To recreate this issue:
In my case, I got the behavior to occur by clicking on a dl325 interactive session, then clicking the home page while on subsequent wait/loading page, clicking the home page again, reclicking on the same interactive session, and then clicking the end session button
Thoughts:
Probably same underlying issue as issue #93. Clicking the home button does not actually stop the run ci process. As far as I can tell, only clicking the end session button does, which of course, won't show up if you're only in the queue
