I suppose in this case the Docker containers have ephemeral storage. So R package installations would be lost after restart, correct ?

Hi @behrica, if you want persistence you can mount volumes (even user-specific) in your spec, see e.g. the spec at https://github.com/openanalytics/shinyproxy-rstudio-ide-demo (using container-volumes).
