currently app parameters are statics. Would be nice to allow spel to generate the parameters.

  parameters:
    definitions:
      - id: myParameter
    value-sets:
      - values:
          myParameter: #{myCsvList}

We could add this feature, but it would be good to know how you would this feature.
What values would you use in the SpEL expressions? The parameters must be generated before the app is started, therefore the only input to the SpEL expression would be the information of the current user. Would this be sufficient?

I guess so ! The use case is "project management". Currently we set users to "projects" by using SP groups. People in the same project share some volumes. Also users can be in multiple groups.

We d'like users to be able to select a group before starting the app. So app parameters with a spell expression would allow to generate a form with every groups a given user belongs to.

And from the limitations you mentions, I guess this is compatible.

BTW I would be glad to propose a PR on this, but it sounds like tricky to turn the current implementation into a spel compatible one. Isn'it ?
