Wrong grouping of Leap 15.3 packages on download page #1064
Comments
For official Leap 15.3 packages, the problem is even larger as the repository urls are pointing to the wrong locations (with the current state of #1065) |
We need to somehow sort "15.3" and "15.4" into both openSUSE and SLE somehow |
This is still a problem for 15.4 and 15.5. @hennevogel |
Pasting in additional information from: https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1197015#c5 Packages provided by Leap are not listed after a search, e.g. Only Tumbleweed shows an official release entry. Leap 15.4, 15.5 and 15.6 sections are present, but don't have any versions listed. For example, with Leap 15.5, I'd expect either the initial package from repo-oss (5.14.21-150500.53.2) and/or the latest update from repo-sle-update (5.14.21-150500.55.49.1 as of 2024-02-19). Did the Leap Jump project, implemented for Leap 15.3, affect the search results? Now that Leap takes binary RPMs from SLE, the default repo configuration has changed. Perhaps that's relevant for the search results on software.opensuse.org. |
I also find this very confusing.
openSUSE_Leap_15.2 and openSUSE_Leap_15.3 should be in the same category.
But open openSUSE_Leap_15.3 is sorted into the SLE category in this example:
https://software.opensuse.org//download.html?project=isv%3AownCloud%3Aserver%3A10.8.0&package=owncloud-complete-files
