in order to unify branding paths on SLES and openSUSE I would like to use /usr/share/default instead of openSUSEdefault and SLEdefault options for wallpapers.
Ideally these would have then /usr/share/wallpaper/default.png respectively default-dark.png symlinks to /usr/share/wallpapers/default/*/default.png etc.
for SLES dark could be a symlink to default in case of missing dark variant. Leap and TW have both as of today.
I consider the /usr/share/default as and implementation of https://jira.suse.com/browse/PED-11079 on SLES side (ask to use single 4096x4096px with default.png and optionally default-dark.png) as an ideal end result.

Hello

Ideally these would have then /usr/share/wallpaper/default.png respectively default-dark.png symlinks to /usr/share/wallpapers/default/*/default.png etc.
for SLES dark could be a symlink to default in case of missing dark variant. Leap and TW have both as of today.
We started this unification effort as part of #152 which was relevant https://news.opensuse.org/2024/04/09/common-wallpaper-path/ . We've then introduced single 4096x4096px wallpaper in #160 and #154 for Leap and Tumbleweed.
