Hi gang!

There's been a bit of a low-intensity need for some kind of published guidance/documentation on operating the OpenTelemetry Collector as a public endpoint (e.g., for collecting client telemetry). While I certainly know that people are doing this, and that there are many ways to achieve this goal, I would like if this SIG could go out and do some research/get some stories together and compile them into a blog and perhaps a reference article for the website or for the appropriate repo.
