it looks like the last version of this repo is 0.12.6 (June 2020), while the latest available release is 0.12.6 r2 (June 2022).
Can we have an update, please?

Was never 'officially' tagged and released. I think we're at the end of the road with this anyway... wkhtmltopdf/wkhtmltopdf#5160
